Can Lab

In class we did a lab were we put cold water into an empty can, such as a soda can. There was a large tub of cold water right next to us. Then we heated it up on a hot plate, and right when it started steaming we quickly flipped the can into the cold water and the can crushed itself. it was pretty dang kool. well thats all for now PEACE!!!!!

Energy test

two weeks ago i took the Energy test, which was a fun unit , there were a lot of fun labs that we did but sadly i don't remember most of them. i just know that they were fun.♥ I studied for the test but, again, sadly i was short of an A and settled with a B+. But thats okay i still feel good with what i got. PEACE!!!!!

SWIMMING MEET

Last week i had a swimming meet that was totally awesome. Well it was actually a practice meet, but it was still exciting. I had to do the 50 free style and the 200 freestyle relay. I won the 50 freestyle , and i got 29.69 seconds which is okay.... then in the 200 relay my team was ahead by half a lap and then we lost..... sad ending but i had a lot of fun PEACE OUT♥!♥!♥!♥!♥!♥!

SUPER WEEKEND

this weekend i m goin to Sanoma, or i think thats what its called. i go there a lot, because its a small isolated place were you can hang out with the family. It is sort of like small apartments that you can rent out, or use like a hotel room. it is really fun because the rooms in which you stay are really kool they somtimes have 2 stories! i am so excited to go......well peace out!

today we ahd the last rally of the year called the "homegoing"rally. it was fun, because it had plenty of dancing acts and a lot of cheering. the coolest dance groups were "encore" and "academy of villans". the academy of villans are a proffesional dance group that were featured in Americas best dance crew! Amazing right!! THe rally was really kool for the last one evar! well peace out!!!

Oxidation of Magnesium

Yesterday we did a lab in which we oxidized magnesium and ended up with MgO, or magnesium oxide. we burned a magnesium ribbon that was 25.3cm inside a crucible and we ended up with MgO. We were supposed to get .60MgO left, but i only got .50 so watev my group ended up doing it right anyway so no sweat the lab was fun.

solutions and pH test

This particular test on Solutions a pH was pretty hard, because it involved a lot of math, and setting up equations. It was mostly algebra. We used the GxCF to find our answers, which does evolve a lot of thinking, so it was indeed challenging. But it gets easier once you learn how to do it.
