MOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No not the mole your thinking not the animal or the thing on ur body. Im takin bout the mole in chemistry yes a mole is 6.02x EE23. yes it is a very large number......yes HUGE! my teacher has a video on this term and he is singing a song about it "mole song with c" the song is entertaining. using the mole in equations is pretty hard, but i feel like im getting the hang of it.

Cool lab

we did a lab that involved rubbing a rod with a wool cloth. then we put the rod next to some liquids, the liquids were water kerosine and two other liquids that i dnt remember. the liquids either didnt do nything or they became attracted toward the rod and the liqued curved it was actually pretty cool. the lab overall went by reawlly fast and it was pretty kool.

test tommorow

we have a test tomorrow and i am pretty ready, unlike last time where i thought i was ready......well i hope that o get an A or a B+ ,maybe even an A-. Im probably going to study today and make sure i know everything!!! about Ion, light and Bonding!!! YAY!!! well thats all for now PEACE!!!!!!!!!

Visible spectrum lab

this lab involved looking at a machine with different colors. we had to read the wavelengths absorbed and then we graphed our findings on google.docs. it was pretty cool but a little confusing. overall it was pretty fun.

COOL FLAMES.....

So in the class we are learning about light, and we got to use these cool glasses that looked pretty cheap, but they made the color spectrum show whenever you look at something white. It was pretty cool, i enjoyed that, but what was really cool is the FLAME TEST LAB!! In this lab we were dipping a stick in chemicals and then burning it over the flame. During this the flames changed color to Green and violet and pink and red and gold and orange and it was really cool and im saying "and " a lot PEACE!!!!!

LOTS O STUFF

We have done a lab and watched a lot of movies, not really like only 3 i think. Well the Labs were pretty cool( i noticed i say that a lot), the lab envolved pennies, and shaking 100 of them in a cub. WHen we finished we went to the computer lab on Friday, which is today and we made a spread sheet with a graph, of the lab. That wasnt all to fun it was pretty cool, again with the (pretty cool). Well the movie we watched, the good one, was about E=mc^2. it was like watching a dramatic movie on einsteins theory, but it was totally awsome! We didnt finish it yet but its really good, and very helpful, because it tells about how different people contributed to the equation

OMG we gotta test on friday!

i need to study a little. i think i got everything i just need to remember some of the scientists names and what they did. I actually plan on studying today ..................maybe...............jk ima study. Well there isnt much to talk about right now so i guess ima go ..PEACE OUT!

periodic table, and a project

in class we have been doing worksheets on the periodic table, also on atoms and elements. So far its been pretty cool, right now we are doing a project on an element from the periodic table. We were to choose an element and make a kind of website that you do it on. Mines coming out pretty good, but its actually a hard project considering the info you have to put into it, also its time consuming, so finding a good day to spend your time actually doing this project is challenging. Well class has been fun and i am learning knew stuff.....well i guess ima go PEACE OUT!

A Song nd a Lab

On wednesday we actually had a chance to sing a song that would be filmed and posted on Youtube. Well as you can kind of guess the guys werent to enthusiastic about it, but it was fun. We did a few practices before we actually filmed the guys singing. Well actually the girls went first after there practice, and the guys didnt really pay attention, and we should have cuz we stunk. Or teacher was singing the song more than our actual singers were. But it was fun to watch it made everyone laugh and we all enjoyed it, also there was a lesson ehind it somewhere..............jk it was about solving conversin problems and the whole thing was quite helpful. Today we just did a short lab on the periodic table and how its made the way it is. It has trends that we had to list and look and see and stuff like that. It was pretty short and not all that interesting but informational and i wrote a lot so ima go..... u now kno wats goin on in the CHEESERS WORLD.. PEACE OUT!

Desity lab

In chem we did a density lab which actually involved a certain amount of math in it and was not that fun at all, but was pretty interesting. We measured mass and density on a scale an in a graduated cylinder. Overall it was okayish. we also just took a pretty challenging quiz on math in chem weird to me but useful none-the-less.

Chemistry is full of tools like scales, and cylinders, and such. We used a scale to measure mass, and a graduated cylinder to measure the mass. The lab was kind of fun but we had to do calculations to see how much percentage we were off in guess the mass and volume.. For homework we had notes on the scientific method, and i thought of it as something you already know but dont know what it means until you see the definition. Yea i know confusing stuff but easy none-the-less. sooo thats what be happening in my Chem. class be bak l8r. PEACE FROM THE CHEESER!

Penny Lab

In chemistry we did a lab to try to turn our pennies gold. i thought that this was pretty cool. So this lab went pretty fast and the first part was quite easy just to drop the pennies in the zinc without spilling any zinc. The second part wat a lot more fun we took our pennies out of the zinc and put them one by one over the Bunsen Burner, for about 20-30 seconds each. Then straight into the water where they turned shiny gold. Mine was pretty dang sick if you asked me, but my penny was already dirty so it didnt look that great. Overall the lab was quite entertaaing and i enjoyed every part of it. PEACE OUT FROM THE CHEESER! :^)

goals and passions

i have many goals and passions and want to try to fufil them. my greatest passion is art and my goal is to become an artist someday, but if that doesn't work out i wana be a doctor.......maybe. First i wana do well in school and try to receive all A's.....if i can. then i shall go to collage and either study to become a doctor or a lawyer like my new cousin, but he is in imagration so that doesn't really help. i do want to get married to a beutiful girl one day and live in a big house with two childern, yes only 2. well now you have heard what i want to become thak you. :^)
